Modern agricultural machinery will be presented at the Siberian Agrotechnical Week 2016 exhibition.

Omsk farmers purchased agricultural machinery and equipment worth 2.1 billion rubles in 2016.

Modern agricultural machinery, including those from Omsk manufacturers, will be presented at the Siberian Agroindustrial Week 2016 exhibition and fair, which will begin its work at the regional Expocenter on November 24. Among the exhibits are tractors, grain sweepers, and telehandlers. Avtospetsmash will present a new product – an upgraded tractor with a blade, and the Omsk Experimental Plant – a modified sprayer, which is indispensable in pest control.

More than 25 organizations are engaged in the production of agricultural machinery and equipment in the Omsk region. Omsk agro-industrial complex is modernizing production, and this year Omsk farmers have purchased new equipment worth 2.1 billion rubles.

Omsk region is also actively involved in the implementation of the federal program, under which agricultural machinery manufacturers are reimbursed 30% of its cost at the expense of the state. SibzavodAgro and the Omsk Experimental Plant (SEZ) this year signed contracts for the supply of equipment in the amount of 29 million rubles, while the amount of subsidies due amounted to 7.9 million rubles.

Omsk Region enterprises focus on import substitution and cheaper products. Thus, the Omsk Experimental Plant's grain pre-cleaning machine is three times cheaper than its foreign counterparts and more reliable in terms of individual technical characteristics. The SEZ breeding seed drill presented at the Agrosalon-2016 Moscow exhibition has attracted the interest of seed growers from scientific institutions in Russia and abroad.

The Irtysh-10 sowing complex of the Omsk SibzavodAgro enterprise is in demand. The ARRS Group of Companies has started production of new cabins with safety arches and rear frames for the Kirovets-704 tractor. The price of this Omsk-made equipment is also significantly lower than for other domestic and foreign analogues.

You can't do without modern and reliable equipment in rural areas. The business program of the exhibition includes discussions on technical re–equipment, the conclusion of partnership agreements, and the establishment of useful contacts. The best milk dispensers will be awarded with modern milking machines at the exhibition. At the initiative of Omsk Region Governor Viktor Nazarov, the tradition of awarding cars to winners of labor competitions has been revived this year. Lada Granta car keys will be awarded to 12 of the best machine operators, milkmaids, tractor drivers and other industry leaders.
