Goods and products from 8 CIS countries will be presented at the Wealth of Eurasia fair
From August 23 to 26, the Wealth of Eurasia exhibition and fair of CIS goods will be held for the first time in the Na Koroleva Park in Omsk. It is organized by the Government of the Omsk region, the Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk Region and national public associations of the region.
Retail sale of food and non-food consumer goods, handicrafts of the CIS countries is organized for residents of the region at the fair. On this day, guests of the park "On Korolev" will get to the oriental and Slavic bazaars, where trading firms, entrepreneurs, and craftsmen from the CIS countries will present their goods and services. Everyone will be able to buy national clothes, fresh vegetables and fruits, taste national dishes, buy textiles, dairy, meat products and much more.
"The Wealth of Eurasia exhibition and Fair is held to develop trade and economic cooperation between the Omsk Region and the CIS countries, establish business contacts, and familiarize Omsk residents with culture, folk crafts, crafts, and tourism in the CIS regions," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency. - The event will be held in the format of a large three-day celebration. 8 CIS countries have already confirmed their participation in the exhibition: Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the Russian Federation. Each country will prepare a cultural program with performances by national vocal and dance groups for residents of Omsk and guests of the city."
It should be recalled that the delegation from the North Kazakhstan region was personally invited to the fair by the head of the region, Alexander Burkov, during his official visit to Petropavlovsk. The delegation will be headed by akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov.
Also, as part of the cultural program "The Wealth of Eurasia", a festival of national cuisine will be held, where participants of the fair will taste a variety of dishes. Omsk residents will be able to get acquainted in detail with the cultural traditions of the CIS countries: take part in master classes on applied needlework, cooking pilaf and tandoor cakes, attend Belarusian language lessons, learn the basics of belly dancing and playing the komuz, make kamcha under the guidance of a master, take part in Kazakh wrestling and play backgammon.
According to the organizers, in addition to the exhibition and fair exposition and a rich cultural program, a business part is planned. The government of the Omsk region and the delegations of the CIS countries will hold meetings with industry ministries and organizations of the Omsk region, the exchange of contacts, will visit enterprises of the Omsk region, and will also hold business negotiations.
The organizers invite residents of Omsk and guests of the city to visit the CIS Wealth of Eurasia exhibition and fair, purchase high-quality goods and products from the CIS countries, have fun and have fun with your family, learning about national customs and cultural traditions.
