Omsk residents will be taught how to make dolls from cattails at the CIS Wealth of Eurasia fair

On August 23, on the opening day of the CIS Wealth of Eurasia fair, the Republic of Belarus will present its goods, products, customs and traditions in Korolev Park as part of the Country Day.

It should be recalled that the CIS Wealth of Eurasia Exhibition and Fair will be held from August 23 to 26. It is organized by the Government of the Omsk region, the Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk Region and national public associations of the region.

Retail sale of food and non-food consumer goods, handicrafts of the CIS countries is organized for residents of the region at the fair. Everyone will be able to purchase textiles, national clothes, fresh vegetables and fruits, dairy and meat products, taste traditional dishes, as well as take part in interactive events and workshops from the participating countries of the fair.

Thus, the Omsk Belarusians National cultural autonomy will present a variety of Belarusian treats and colorful national art. As part of the "Country Day", the Republic of Belarus invites residents of Omsk and guests of the city to an exhibition and sale of decorative, applied and fine arts, where you can buy paintings, national dolls and embroidery created manually by Belarusian artisans.

"Visitors to the CIS Wealth of Eurasia exhibition and fair will be able to take memorable photos in the interior of the Belarusian hut, watch performances by folklore groups, dance ensembles and solo performers. As well as take part in various master classes where Belarusian craftsmen will teach how to weave dolls from cattails and natural materials, draw national patterns and teach the Belarusian dialect. During the fair, a literary and musical lounge "The Land of Blue Lakes and Clean Crinits" will be held, where participants will present Belarusian books and magazines, read poetry in Russian and Belarusian, and tell interesting facts from the life of Omsk Belarusians," the local Belarusian national cultural autonomy Omsk Belarusians said.

It should be noted that participants from Belarus will present a wide range of dairy, meat products, confectionery and textile materials.

In addition to the exhibition part, a business program of the fair is planned. Thus, the official and business delegations of the Republic of Belarus will visit the Omsk region. "The delegation will spend two days in the region on August 23 and 24. In particular, the fifth meeting of the joint commission on trade, economic and investment cooperation between the Omsk region and the Republic of Belarus and negotiations with visits to Omsk enterprises will take place," the Agency for Development and Investment said.
