The Plant of Oil and Gas Systems in Omsk has started implementing measures to increase productivity
Today, the national project "Labor Productivity" has officially been launched on the territory of the enterprise. Experts from the Regional Competence Center will provide targeted support to the plant for productivity growth.
"Today, 70 enterprises are already participants in the national project in the Omsk region, and the experience of implementing the project at each of them shows its effectiveness in terms of how much faster processes proceed, production increases, and the time of various operations is reduced. I am sure that your company will have a similar experience. You've gained a lot of professional experience in the market, but the main resource of any company is people, and we all tend to get used to what's going on and maybe overlook something over time. And here, good support is the outside view of the experts of the Regional Competence Center, who have production experience, education, training and certification. They will help you see what can be improved, find reserves and implement solutions for the company to develop," said the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the region.Kirill Samodinsky.
The launch meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Omsk Region, the Ministry of Industry and Technical Development of the Omsk Region, the Regional Industrial Development Fund, experts from the Regional Competence Center, and the plant's management and employees.
"You already have experience of participating in serious projects - the company recently joined the interregional Irkutsk chemical cluster, and is successfully developing cooperation with contractors from other regions. Therefore, joining the national project is more appropriate than ever and will help identify more effective approaches and methods for further interaction with your business partners at the interregional level," said the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Technical Development.Igor Lukyanov.
The Oil and Gas Systems Plant specializes in manufacturing a wide range of metal products for the oil and gas, petrochemical and energy industries. Improvements to increase productivity will be implemented at the flange manufacturing site.
"The company's management believes that the successful implementation of the project will allow it to find new customers, increase productivity, expand production, and increase employee salaries," said Alexander Ignatiev, Deputy General Director for Organizational and Legal Affairs at the Oil and Gas Systems Plant.
Under the guidance of experts from the Regional Competence Center, the project's working group, consisting of employees of the enterprise, will diagnose the pilot flow, identify problems and draw up an action plan that will reduce the process time and increase production. In addition, the company's employees will receive training sessions on the basics of lean manufacturing. The project is designed for 3 years — the first 6 months the working group of the enterprise will work together with the RCC. In the next 2.5 years, the company independently replicates the skills, knowledge and skills acquired during the implementation of the project for other production processes.
