The General Directorate of the Omsk Region Contract System (GUKS) announced the first 5 auctions for the repair of regional facilities within the framework of the Safe and High-Quality Roads project.

Potential contractors have 15 days to submit applications. Then, within 3-5 days, the commission will review the first parts of the bids, after which the customer will sign contracts with the auction winners.
According to the terms of the contracts, the contractors will have to carry out milling of uneven sections, pit repairs, installation of two layers of asphalt concrete pavement, roadside reinforcement, as well as traffic management measures (marking, installation of signs and signal posts). Contractors will have to provide a four-year warranty for the completed work. Quality control of repairs will be carried out by the regional Ministry of Construction in cooperation with the Omsk Region Road Management Agency.
This year, 2 billion rubles have been allocated for the replacement of asphalt concrete pavement at 42 facilities of the Omsk agglomeration, of which 1 billion rubles is directed to the renovation of urban highways. It is planned to hold competitive procedures for the remaining 37 urban facilities by mid-April.
