We remind you that yesterday, on December 8, the International Conference on Foreign Economic Activity began its work. This year, Omsk was chosen as the venue for the annual large-scale event, which brings together representatives of government authorities, infrastructure organizations of Russian regions, the business community, as well as foreign businesses. Previously, the Conference was held in Kaluga, Vologda and Ulyanovsk.
The Conference is organized by the Regional Agency for Development and Investment in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the region with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The general partner is Sberbank of Russia.
According to the organizers, about 100 Omsk enterprises held talks with companies from Georgia, Armenia, China, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and China.
According to preliminary data, about 300 negotiations took place within the framework of the "contact exchange".
Omsk products aroused great interest among foreign companies. So, the Iranians were interested in sunflower oil seeds from Omsk producer for their further processing. According to Ivan Borisenko, Director of Tavrida Agrofirma, the estimated delivery may take place in March or April.
"We have established contact, we will exchange information. Sunflower is in demand on the market, it is so difficult to grow it, and we have the appropriate technology," Ivan Borisenko notes.
In addition, Chinese enterprises have shown significant interest in condensed milk and confectionery.
As a result of negotiations between representatives of the Belarusian plant and the Omsk enterprise specializing in the supply of technical fluids of various types and purposes, an agreement was reached on a return visit to the Republic of Belarus. During the visit to the Belarusian plant, which will take place next year in the first half of the year, the Omsk company plans to study the requirements for lubricants and coolants imposed by potential partners.
Based on the results of the "contact exchange" Omsk enterprises will continue negotiations with potential partners.
