Residents of Omsk and guests of the city are invited to see the riches of Eurasia
Residents of the city will be able to view and purchase goods from Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia.
From August 23 to 26, the first exhibition-fair "Wealth of Eurasia" will be held in the park "On Korolev". Omsk residents will see the Oriental and Slavic bazaars, where trading companies, individual entrepreneurs, and artisans from the CIS countries will present their goods and services.
The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency is the operator of the fair. As the Agency's General Director Evgeny Kovtun noted, enterprises and representatives of the cultures of the participating countries will present the best products at their stands, tell about traditions and customs, and organize a cultural and entertainment program for residents of Omsk and the Omsk region. Everyone will be able to purchase fresh vegetables and fruits at the fair, delivered directly from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Armenia. It should be noted that the guests of the fair will be able to take part in tastings at the festival of national cuisine and have a good time at master classes from the participants.
Thus, residents of Omsk will be offered to taste real Belarusian kvass on birch sap, Kazakh artisans will hold master classes on playing the dombra and weaving the Kazakh national kamchi whip, backgammon will be played at the stand of the Republic of Armenia, and Azerbaijani entrepreneurs will organize a "Pomegranate Day" and tasting of national dishes.
On Country Day, each of the Republics prepared a rich cultural program for the audience. Everyone will be able to watch performances by folklore groups, dance ensembles and solo performers from the CIS countries.
"The highlight of the stand of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be a photo zone with a pyramid of fresh fruits, watermelons and melons and master classes on cooking Uzbek pilaf. The participants of the Republic of Tajikistan will hold a national belt wrestling tournament for Omsk residents who are engaged in various types of wrestling. The winner of the fight on towels thrown on the opponent's belt will win a live lamb," said the organizers of the CIS Wealth of Eurasia exhibition and Fair.
