On December 12, the Omsk Agro-Industrial Forum will be held in the regional Congress Hall, which will bring together more than 300 agricultural specialists from the Omsk, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Tomsk Regions and the Altai Territory, representatives of agricultural science and leading public associations.
The Forum is organized by the Public Chamber of the Omsk Region and the Directorate of the First Agrarian Award.
During the event, participants and guests will summarize the results of the past year, discuss the problems of the agro-industrial complex and suggest ways to solve them. The work will take place on three thematic platforms. The participants will be presented the achievements of agricultural science, examples of successful implementation of projects in agriculture, rural development and measures of state support for the agricultural sector.
There will also be a presentation of a new project to train a personnel reserve for the agro-industrial complex, the implementation of which will allow in the near future to form a pool of highly qualified specialists focused on working in the industry and able to professionally solve production tasks.
One of the results of the Forum will be the awarding of the winners of the "First Agrarian Prize". The organizers will hold it in five nominations and name the best head of an agricultural enterprise in 2018 according to the expert council.
