Omsk entrepreneurs will learn about the organization of effective logistics for exporters
On November 29, the seminar "Logistics for Exporters" of the REC Export School will be held in the regional Congress Hall. The seminar is organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses interested in developing the company and launching export activities are invited to participate free of charge.
The export seminar will be held in a face-to-face format. Using interactive training methods, a qualified trainer will provide students with basic knowledge about all stages of the procedure for moving goods from seller to buyer: choosing a provider of transport and logistics services. The course participants will also learn about the legal support of logistics and the design of transport documentation; how to insure products against logistical risks, choose suitable containers, packaging and labeling of goods, store, analyze existing means of international transportation and use the possibilities of postal communication, electronic platforms and databases in logistics.
"Logistics costs can average from 10 to 30% of the cost of goods, but a well-designed transportation process helps to minimize these costs. An overview of the Russian logistics services market will be held at the Logistics for Exporters seminar. The seminar participants will learn seven criteria for organizing effective logistics, receive recommendations on choosing a logistics operator and insurance company, select electronic databases and online platforms relevant to the export logistics project, and also study samples of filling out the CMR invoice, bill of lading, air waybill and documents regulating transportation by certain modes of transport," the Center said. export support for the Omsk region.
