The Omsk Region Export Support Center invites entrepreneurs to participate in the seminar free of charge.
On November 21, the seminar "Customs regulation of exports" of the REC Export School will be held in the regional Congress Hall. The seminar is organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses interested in the development of the company and the launch of export activities are invited to participate free of charge.
The export seminar will be held in a face-to-face format. Using interactive training methods, a qualified trainer will provide students with basic knowledge of customs regulation of exports. The seminar participants will learn the basics of customs legislation, what list of documents is needed to confirm the customs value, what rules exist for interpreting HS codes (Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity) and determining the country of origin of goods.
"Preparation for the declaration of products to the customs authorities takes place after signing a foreign trade contract and receiving documents providing legal support for the transaction. This course consistently describes the main customs operations: choosing a customs procedure, determining the HS code and the country of origin of goods; calculating the customs value of exported products; collecting permits for subsequent declaration of goods; paying customs duties and duties; interacting with customs control authorities to process exported goods and protecting the rights of the exporter from unlawful decisions or inaction of employees the Customs Department," said the Omsk Region Export Support Center.
