Omsk region is included in the collection of the best practices of "business hospitality" in the subjects of the Russian Federation

The collection summarizes the pilot project "Business Agent", implemented by the Club of Leaders and the TV channel "Russia 24".

It should be recalled that entrepreneurs with real investment projects planning to locate production facilities in regions with the most attractive conditions acted as "business agents". The business agent filled out checklists drawn up by experts, consisting of 8 blocks.      Igor Temnyshev, Director of the Office Real Estate Department at Colliers International St. Petersburg, inspected the Omsk Region in April this year, noting the well-coordinated work of the regional Development and Investment Agency and the regional Ministry of Economy.

"The application was sent late at night, after business hours, but the response came as fast as lightning. The call was received early the next morning. If everyone gets greeted like that, then that's great. The Ministry works closely with the agency," Igor Temnyshev shared.

As Artem Avetisyan, Chairman of the Leadership Club and director of the New Business department of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, notes in his greeting from the pages of the collection, "the project took a whole year, during which time business agents visited 30 regions – from Crimea to Kamchatka. This collection is intended to serve as a practical guide for organizations involved in attracting investors to the region in one way or another."

According to the results of the rating of "business hospitality" of the subjects of the Russian Federation, the Omsk region scored 68.5 points and took 21st place.

Experts attributed to the success factors a number of practices used by the region, which are published in the collection as an example.  Exactly:  the list of services provided to the investor, the navigation of the investment portal, the structure and accessibility of information presented in the form of infographics on the investment portal.

It should be noted that the Omsk region entered the top 5 regions that received the highest scores from "business agents" for remote communication, scoring 95 points out of a possible 100.

"Business agents" gave a positive assessment of how representatives of organizations specializing in attracting investments conducted negotiations in English in the Republic of Tatarstan, Samara Region, Omsk, Pskov, Amur regions, Khabarovsk and Kamchatka Territories," the collection says.

"Business agents" also noted that quite often, in every third region, their heads were present at a meeting on the part of organizations responsible for working with investors, in particular, in the Omsk region.

"The agency aims to build partnerships with organizations involved in attracting investments and working with investors. Together with the Ministry of Economy, we have developed approaches to working with entrepreneurs interested in implementing investment projects in the region. Together, we will continue to work on improving the region's investment portal," comments Vadim Savitsky, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
