The official opening of the Model of International Organizations forum took place today in the regional Congress Hall. Participants from 21 countries and 28 cities of Russia gathered in Omsk to discuss global issues. The delegates were students and schoolchildren, as well as representatives of international organizations and guests from near and far abroad.
Global work has been carried out with international organizations, some of which are ready to accept the best delegates for internships. The organizers expressed their gratitude for the productive cooperation of those who provided effective support to the Forum. Letters of thanks were received by the executive authorities of the Omsk region, as well as the top officials of our region.
Invited political figures delivered greetings and parting words during the plenary part of the Forum. "Such projects provide important skills – the development of creative thinking, the ability to collaborate and work in a team," said Igor Zuga, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region.
The organizers have prepared a rich business program for the Forum participants. So, after the official opening, everyone took part in a “Dialogue on equal terms” with the US Consul General in Yekaterinburg, Paul M. Carter, who spoke about his professional career and answered questions from the audience.
The consul shared information that in the United States and other countries, work in Russia is considered interesting and serious, which way certain information and materials are overcome in the state apparatus before reaching higher management, as well as how official requests are formed.
The Forum will continue its work until November 2. Participants will be able to participate in negotiations between delegates, attend meetings on organizations and exhibitions of Omsk enterprises for foreign investors. The Forum's guests will also enjoy a rich cultural program: the Volleyball World Cup, city tours for foreign and nonresident participants, a traditional ball, an award ceremony and intellectual tournaments.
