Omsk Region will become a platform for discussing the investment climate in the subjects of the Siberian Federal District

The participants of the strategic sessions will be representatives of federal executive authorities (the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Rosreestr, the Office of the Government of the Russian Federation), the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Rosseti, executive authorities of the subjects of the Siberian Federal District and specialized organizations of the subjects of the Siberian Federal District for attracting investments.

It should be recalled that Decree No. 147-r of the Government of the Russian Federation dated January 31, 2017 approved 12 target models for simplifying business procedures and increasing the investment attractiveness of Russian regions: in the field of construction, property registration, cadastral registration, control and supervisory activities, support for small and medium-sized businesses, technological connection to electric networks, and gas distribution networks., heat and water supply, sanitation, improving the quality of regional legislation to support investment activities, improving the effectiveness of feedback from investors and the leadership of Russian regions, the effectiveness of regional specialized organizations in attracting investments and the work of investors.

"For each target model, a target value and indicators for evaluating its achievement are defined. The subjects of the Russian Federation will have to assess the current state of the region's investment climate by key factors and ensure the implementation of changes aimed at creating favorable conditions for business development," the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region reports.

During the "federal landing", issues of creating a favorable investment climate, problematic areas that have developed in the subjects of the Siberian Federal District of the Russian Federation will be discussed, experience will be exchanged with the best regional practices of the Siberian Federal District, as well as proposals for identifying regulatory restrictions in the main areas of entrepreneurial activity will be brainstormed.
