Omsk delegation to visit People's Republic of China

From May 16 to 18, Omsk entrepreneurs will hold talks at the international food exhibition SIAL (Shanghai) in the People's Republic of China.

It should be noted that participation in the international exhibition of 10 Omsk companies engaged in various sectors of the food industry is organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency. The Center provided assistance in co-financing the transfer, exhibition space and necessary equipment. The Center's specialists also plan to ensure the search and selection of potential business partners and negotiations between representatives of Omsk and Chinese enterprises.

As part of the business visit, Omsk entrepreneurs will take part in SIAL China 2018, the world's largest and 4th international food and specialty equipment exhibition in Asia. The SIAL China 2018 International Exhibition will be located on 162,000 square meters. It will be attended by about 3,400 exhibitors from 67 countries and 110,000 professionals.

"The upcoming business visit will be the fourth in a row to the People's Republic of China organized by the Export Support Center. Chinese entrepreneurs demonstrate a real interest in the products of Omsk manufacturers and service providers, as evidenced by shipments and return visits of Chinese business representatives to Omsk. So, in 2017, with the assistance of the Center, the volume of concluded contracts with China amounted to over 170 million rubles. Thanks to the specialists of the Center, 6 export-oriented companies successfully sell their products in the People's Republic of China," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.

The following companies will present their products and services to potential Chinese partners: Lyubinsky Dairy and Cannery, Sladunitsa, Sibsnek, Omsk Pasta Factory, Sladonezh, Vesely Melnik Trading House, IP Tarasova G.N. (Sibkholod trademark), OSHA distillery" and Alcoholic Siberian Group, Logistics and Foreign Economic Operations Center.

"The Omsk region will be represented at the exhibition by a collective stand of food producers. The stand with a total area of 90 sq.m. is equipped with equipment for product demonstrations and tastings. A translator will be provided for each company. The participants of the Omsk delegation will study the target market and negotiate with potential partners. It is planned that the results of participation in the exhibition will be the conclusion of export contracts for the supply of food products from the Omsk region to the People's Republic of China," said Anna Kolokolova, Deputy Head of the Omsk Region Export Support Center.

Thus, the Omsk company IP Tarasova G.N. (Trademark "SibHolod") sells ice cream on the Chinese market, but does not stop there and continues to develop export relations with Chinese partners.

"Last year, with the assistance of the Omsk Region Export Support Center, we started exporting SibHolod ice cream to the People's Republic of China. At the moment, our partners sell products in local and regional retail chains in China, and open branded cafes. The leaders in sales of the Sibkholod trademark are the ice cream lines of the Na Cream trademark (the silver medal of the Prodexpo exhibition in 2016) and GOST; My Dessert and, of course, our unique ice cream cakes, which are among the 100 best products of the Russian Federation. At the exhibition, we will present this year's new products in the anniversary series of the "On Cream" trademark: cappuccino coffee, popsicle in chocolate glaze, unique flavor solutions for cake products," said Olga Kosheva, Director of Business Development at IP Tarasova G.N.
