Omsk delegation to take part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

An agreement on the joint implementation of the export seminar program "Life Cycle of an export project" will be signed within the framework of the forum.

From 24 to 26 May 2018, the XXII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held in the Northern Capital, attended by representatives of the economic profile. The forum will be held under the motto "Creating an economy of trust".

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a unique event in the world of economics and business. The Forum has been held since 1997, and since 2006 it has been held under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. Over the past twenty years, the Forum has become the world's leading platform for business representatives to communicate and discuss key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world as a whole.

The Forum will be attended by delegations from Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Greece, Italy, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel, Vietnam, the USA, Canada, the countries of the African continent and others.

The Omsk Region delegation at the forum is headed by Alexander Burkov, Acting Governor of the Omsk Region and Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.

The large-scale program includes signing cooperation agreements with partners in the region, holding negotiations and meetings with the heads of major companies and organizations, and intensive work at all key venues of the forum, including the plenary session of the forum with the participation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

So, on May 25, an agreement will be signed on the joint implementation of the export seminar program "Life Cycle of an export project" of the autonomous non-profit organization for additional professional education "Export School of the Russian Export Center Joint Stock Company for export-oriented enterprises in the Omsk region. The agreement will be signed on a four-party basis by Alexander Burkov, Acting Governor of the Omsk Region, Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region, Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, Andrey Slepnev, General Director of the Russian Export Center, and Andrey Slepnev, General Director of the autonomous non-profit organization for continuing professional education, the Export School of the Russian Joint Stock Company. the export center" Alicia Nikitina.

"The Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Agency for Development and Investment, is implementing a program of export seminars at the REC Export School on a free basis for small and medium-sized businesses. As part of the signed agreement, the Export Support Center will implement 11 courses of the export seminar program of the REC Export School. The agreement is being signed in order to help ensure the conditions for successful export activities by Russian enterprises and to raise awareness among enterprises in the Omsk region about systemic government support measures in the field of foreign economic activity," said Evgeny Kovtun, Director General of the Agency for Development and Investment.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will also include the regional Advisory Council of the Business Twenty, the Russian Forum of Small and Medium–sized Enterprises, the International Youth Economic Forum and the session of the International Arctic Forum "The Arctic - the Territory of Dialogue". An exhibition of Russian and foreign investment projects, SPIEF Investment & Business Expo, is planned.
