Omsk team improves managerial skills in the final of the Presidential Academy program

From October 14 to 17, the final module of the federal program "Managerial Excellence: Development of Regional Teams" was launched on the basis of the Moscow campus of the Presidential Academy.

The delegation from the Omsk region included representatives of the regional Ministry of Economic Development, the Agency for Development and Investment, investment commissioners of municipalities, as well as representatives of business associations and public structures.

Investment teams from all regions of Russia participate in the training. The program was developed by leading experts from the Higher School of Public Administration with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development. Specialists master current methods for improving investment standards, study the best practices for attracting investments and modern tools for improving management efficiency.

The key topics of the business program in this module were issues of digitalization and artificial intelligence in managing investment processes, as well as familiarization with goal-setting tools in developing a territorial development strategy, setting up a system for continuously improving the investment climate.

"On October 16, our team is waiting for the defense of the project work based on the results of the training in the federal program. We will present a draft target model of the investment climate management system in the Omsk region. Of course, the knowledge gained here enhances our professional competencies, allows the team to develop and implement system solutions to create a favorable investment climate in the region and municipalities of the Omsk region, as well as achieve high standards of work with investors in the region," said Ilya Kulakov, Head of the Project Planning and Support Department of the regional Agency for Development and Investment.

It should be noted that on the final day of the module of the federal program, a plenary session "Spatial development of the country as a basis for changing approaches to attracting investments" is scheduled with the participation of members of the Russian Government, heads of public and business associations. The results of the regions' efforts to create favorable business conditions will be reflected in the National Rating of the Investment Climate.
