Omsk Region and the Republic of India: new horizons of industrial partnership
On August 3, a working meeting on investment and industrial cooperation between the Omsk Region and the Republic of India was held at the Congress Hall.
The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency team hosted Mr. Debabrat Chattopadhyay, Consul General of the Republic of India in Yekaterinburg.
Olga Filatova, First Deputy Director General of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, Alexey Potapov, Head of the Project Planning and Support Department, and Sergey Khlybov, Director of the Omsk Region Industry Foundation, attended the reception of the important guest.
During the meeting, the colleagues introduced the honored guests:
-presentation of the investment potential and investment projects of the Omsk region;
-presentation of the regional investment system "Rassvet";
-presentation of industrial clusters in the Omsk region.
The visit of the high-level diplomatic representative confirmed the strategic interest of Indian business in the industrial potential of Siberia, and the meeting resulted in a discussion of the prospects for the implementation of joint investment and production projects.
India today is one of the key centers of the multipolar world and a reliable technological partner. Today's meeting allowed us to move from general words about friendship to discussing specific production chains. We have seen a keen interest in our competencies.
