According to the results of the evaluation of the provision of public services based on the "one-stop shop" principle for the second quarter of 2017, the Omsk region was included in the "Very high efficiency of business organization" group. Omsk region scored more than 80 out of 100 possible points. The results of the rating were announced by Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin at the All-Russian Forum of Multifunctional Centers (MFC) of State and Municipal Services, which was held last week in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region.
The main evaluation criteria of the Federal Ministry include the proportion of citizens who have access to state and municipal services and the number of services provided in multifunctional centers.
As part of the "May" Decrees of Russian President Vladimir Putin, multifunctional centers have been established in every district of the Omsk Region and in all administrative districts of Omsk. In order to increase the availability of services, geographically separate structural divisions of the MFC have been organized in 151 rural (urban) settlements. A mobile office of the MFC operates for residents of remote areas of the city of Omsk. If at the end of 2016, the MFC offered residents about 220 types of services, now 20 new types of services have been added to the previously existing ones.
Multifunctional centers make it possible to effectively solve important tasks of providing affordable public services, removing administrative barriers, combating corruption and eliminating so-called "intermediaries". The first MFCs were established in the country 10 years ago. The results of this large-scale project were discussed at the All-Russian Forum, which was attended by 400 representatives from 70 regions of the country.
