Omsk region has signed agreements with federal agencies in the field of entrepreneurship development and increasing investment attractiveness

The Investment Forum is being held under the leadership of Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, on February 15-16. Its participants will discuss opportunities and risks for the development of Russian regions.

During the visit, Alexander Burkov signed an agreement of intent with KAZAKH INVEST National Company JSC. The parties will join efforts to create cross-border clusters between legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the production of agricultural machinery, road construction and tourism.

The trilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed by Alexander Burkov, Head of the region, Mikhail Sutyaginsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Titan Group of Companies, and Dmitry Kurdyukov, First Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank. The memorandum provides for cooperation within the framework of the project to create the production of Biphenol A and epoxy resins based on it.

The third cooperation agreement between the Government of the Omsk Region, the Roscongress Foundation and the All-Russian Public Organization The Association of Lawyers of Russia is aimed at developing cooperation in increasing the investment attractiveness and export potential of the Omsk Region as a whole, as well as promoting promising investment and export projects of the region in the domestic and foreign markets. In particular, one of the types of cooperation may be the organization of a series of visiting foreign events — roadshows to present the investment and export potential of the Omsk region.

In addition, the agreement provides for the promotion of investment projects in the Omsk region through the international and regional partner network of the Roscogress Foundation: investment funds, associations of industrialists and entrepreneurs, international government commissions and business councils, trade missions and economic blocks of the Embassy of the Russian Federation abroad.

The signed agreements will allow Omsk enterprises to strengthen their positioning in regional and foreign markets.
