Omsk region develops industrial tourism

Today, the first strategic session of the participants of the regional accelerator team for the development of industrial tourism "Open Industry" took place on the site of the regional Congress Hall. The result of the educational program and strategic sessions will be the creation of a model of a regional strategy for the development of industrial tourism, as well as the development of new industrial routes and excursion programs to existing enterprises in the Omsk region.

It should be noted that the regional team includes specialists from industrial enterprises, tour operators, executive authorities, business support institutions, public and educational organizations of the Omsk region, tour operators, guides and guides. Currently, the participants have mastered the distance learning course of the program and are doing project work.

"The head of the region, Vitaly Pavlovich Khotsenko, was tasked with doing everything to make the region recognizable to investors and increase its investment attractiveness. One of the mechanisms is the launch of industrial tourist routes. This mechanism allows you to invite guests and showcase businesses, popularize working professions. Omsk Region claims to be the youth capital - we want young people to love and discover new, high-tech professions. Today we are discussing the ecosystem of industrial tourism, the functional connections of the participants. We plan to present the first industrial route in the Omsk Region in February as part of a field internship at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation under the Federal Practice program together with ASI," said Andrey Viktorovich Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region, Representative of the Omsk Region to the Government of the Russian Federation.

During the strategic session, the stages of launching industrial tourism in the Omsk region, the concept, goals and objectives of the ecosystem were identified; a brainstorming session to determine the functional relationships of the participants in the ecosystem of industrial tourism; a field practical session is planned to be held at the enterprise participating in the educational project "Open Industry" - Omsk Rubber (GC "Titan").
