Omsk region participates in the strategy session to improve the investment climate

A strategic session is being held in Novosibirsk today for representatives of regional management teams on improving the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which are part of the Siberian Federal District, as part of their work with local governments.

The event is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives with the support of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies.

The delegation from the Omsk Region included Denis Kushner, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the region, Galina Goncharova, First Deputy Director General of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, and Tatyana Dashevskaya, Investment Commissioner of the Azov German National Municipal District of the Omsk Region.

During the strategic session, the participants discussed the possibilities and tools of a Unified Educational Space in expert and methodological support for the implementation of investment policy in the regions of the Siberian Federal District, as well as the role of local governments in shaping the investment climate of the region. The organizers paid special attention to the investment representatives in the business program. The GR-Accelerator educational program is being held for them, where they discuss in detail the issues of developing municipal investment profiles, the work of the investment team and practical tools.

"The task of the investment officers is not only to support projects on the principle of "one window", to talk about the application of state support measures, to identify and eliminate administrative barriers in a timely manner, but also to know the strengths and advantages of municipalities, to be able to "sell" their territory to potential investors. This event will help in developing the investment competencies necessary to create a favorable investment climate at the municipal level and ensure a steady flow of investment to the Omsk Region," said Galina Goncharova, First Deputy General Director of the Regional Development and Investment Agency.
