Omsk region increased the volume of supported exports fivefold

According to the results of the first half of the year, the volume of supported exports in the region amounted to 550 million rubles.

Recall that on the basis of the regional Agency for Development and Investment, there is a regional infrastructure organization that provides assistance to export−oriented enterprises in the region in entering foreign markets - the Export Support Center of the Omsk region.

 "In the first half of the year, the volume of supported exports amounted to 550 million. Entrepreneurs have signed about 27 export contracts. The Omsk Region's largest export partners are Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Poland, Belarus, the People's Republic of China and Indonesia. Last year, during this period, the amount amounted to 110 million rubles," explains Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Agency for Development and Investment.

The Omsk Region Export Support Center reported that in the first half of the year Omsk entrepreneurs exported lubricants, snack, chemical, electrical products, mouldings, flax, timber, confectionery, paper bags, equipment for security equipment, energy audit services, musical equipment, technical fluids, doors, etc. floor covering.

Thus, LLC "Sladunitsa & Co." has sold more than 200 tons of confectionery products to the People's Republic of China thanks to the assistance of the Omsk Region Export Support Center.

"The Omsk Region Export Support Center is an organization that allows Omsk companies to expand into a wider geography of sales. We are very pleased with the work with the Center. In May of this year, our company participated in the SIAL International Exhibition in Shanghai. The trip and work were very productive – since June, Sladunitsa & K has been shipping 100 tons of confectionery products per month to the Northern, Southern and Central Provinces of the People's Republic of China. Among them are the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou. We plan to ship products by more than 1,000 tons by the end of this year," said Denis Dobrodomov, Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department.

The Center for Coordination of Support for Export-oriented Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the Omsk region provides the following assistance to enterprises: information and consulting support on export issues, services for promotion to foreign markets, and services for organizing business cooperation with foreign counterparties.

"This year, the Export Support Center is planning business missions to Kazakhstan, Italy, Turkmenistan and China, as well as the participation of Omsk entrepreneurs in the international food exhibition WorldFood Moscow 2018 and the 24th international exhibition WORLD OF CHILDHOOD 2018. It is also worth noting that in addition to participating in international exhibitions and business missions, the Center's specialists conduct training seminars free of charge for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses interested in developing the company and launching export activities," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Agency for Development and Investment.
