Omsk region is among the twenty most visited regions on the Russian Investment Map
Investors are actively considering the Omsk region as a promising platform for business development and the implementation of major projects, as evidenced by statistical data on visits to the Investment Map of the Russian Federation information resource for the first half of 2025. Omsk region ranks 17th out of 89 regions of Russia and is steadily increasing its turnover.
The investment map of the Russian Federation is a single digital service for searching, comparing and selecting investment sites throughout the country. It includes data on vacant land plots, industrial zones, real estate, as well as government support measures and tax benefits. The resource is available to both Russian and foreign entrepreneurs. Currently, more than 15 thousand objects are placed on the Investment Card.
Thus, the Omsk region is represented on the Investment Map of Russia by 522 investment sites, where 460 land plots for construction and 62 property complexes, including industrial sites, vacant sites for small businesses, as well as priority sites ready for project launch. 70 state support measures have been placed for investors operating in the Omsk region.
"Specialists of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency have compiled a catalog of Investment Proposals. We expect the catalog to be published on the Investment Card of the Russian Federation in the fourth quarter. The digital service saves investors and businesses time searching for information, as all site data is collected in one place with filters by parameters, reduces risks because legal and infrastructural restrictions are known in advance, opens access to government support measures and makes it possible to conduct a comparative analysis. An investor can quickly evaluate several options without leaving the place," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
Thus, Russian entrepreneurs can count on subsidies, preferential loans, free consultations and much more. The government provides assistance to businesses under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". The investment card of the Russian Federation reduces bureaucratic barriers — all information is available online, and also stimulates the development of territories.
