Omsk region is among the top five in Russia for the production of cheese and cheese products

In the first quarter of 2017, the volume of cheese production in the Omsk region increased by more than 19% compared to the same period in 2016.

On May 29, the MilkNews analytical Center published the Top 20 regions with the largest production volumes of cheeses and cheese products in the first quarter of 2017. According to the analytical center, according to the results of January-March of this year, the Voronezh Region, the Altai Territory, the Moscow, Bryansk, Omsk regions and the Republics of Tatarstan and Udmurtia became the leading regions with the largest production volumes of cheeses and cheese products.

The Omsk region increased the production of cheese and cheese products by 19.1% compared to the same period in 2016 and entered the top five. So, in three months, 8.1 thousand tons of cheese and cheese products were produced in the region.
