Omsk region became one of the leaders in the rating of regions for the implementation of the "May" decrees in the social sphere and housing and communal services

Omsk region has entered the TOP 5 regions for the implementation of the "May" decrees of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the housing and communal services sector and among the top ten leaders in the implementation of the "May" decrees in the social sphere.

At the end of 2017, Acting Governor Alexander Burkov managed to attract an additional 8.5 billion rubles to the region to solve social problems. The lion's share of these funds, on behalf of the head of the Omsk region, is directed to the execution of the "May" decrees of the President of Russia.

According to the results of January 2018 in the Omsk region, the accrued average salary of 9 out of 10 categories of employees reached the targets set by the "May" decrees. Thus, the average salary of doctors amounted to 56.6 thousand rubles, teachers of general and additional education of employees of cultural institutions – in the range of 28.2 thousand rubles. All categories of medical personnel and social workers have been receiving salary increases since January of this year.

Also, as part of the "May" decrees, the creation of a network of multifunctional centers in the region has been completed, ensuring the availability of state and municipal services to residents, including in the most remote settlements. Today, the offices of the MFC are open not only in the city of Omsk, but also in all municipal districts of the Omsk region. In total, the MFC provides more than 250 types of services. Last year, more than 2 million citizens' appeals were registered in multifunctional centers.

"This year, the Omsk Region Government has allocated an additional 45 million rubles for the modernization of multifunctional centers. The task is to work out the high quality of service provision – without queues and delays. For this purpose, the electronic queue software was purchased and installed in all 13 city offices. Last year, special equipment was installed in Tara, Isilkul, Omsk region. In 2018, the "electronic queue" will appear in other municipal districts," explained Vladimir Kupriyanov, Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Omsk Region.

According to one of the key "May" decrees of the President of Russia - the resettlement of citizens from dilapidated housing - the Omsk region has reached the target indicators for the implementation of the program. Over the past five years, 168.01 thousand square meters of the total area of emergency housing have been eliminated in the region as part of the targeted program for the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock for 2013-2017. Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a fundamental decision to continue the emergency housing stock liquidation program from 2019. It is planned to allocate up to 25 billion rubles from the federal budget for the implementation of the new state program.

"The head of the region, Alexander Burkov, instructed immediately after the approval of the federal mechanism for the resettlement of citizens to begin developing a regional program to eliminate the emergency housing stock, under which we will have to provide housing for 5,000 people," said Sergey Koshelev, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Omsk Region.
