Omsk construction company increased production by 33 thanks to the national project %

The first results of work within the framework of the national project "Labor Productivity" were summed up at the PES enterprise. The information day was attended by the company's management team, members of the project's working group and experts from the Regional Competence Center of the Omsk Region.

Let's remind that the PES company is one of the leaders of the construction industry in the Omsk region. The company specializes in the design of industrial facilities of any complexity, the construction of petrochemical facilities, the construction of wind farms, and electrical installation of industrial facilities.

For six months of joint work with the Regional Competence Center, a reference flow was formed-a sample for optimizing the procurement process of materials. The team managed to introduce an online tracker into the workflow, which helped to combine everyday tasks and project activities. Thanks to lean manufacturing, PES increased production by 33%, and the time for approving documents was reduced by 2.5 times.

So, the company carried out a number of activities: they built a goal tree and a spaghetti diagram, set up effective workplaces according to the principles of 5C, and compiled a competence matrix. The company's staff received training, during which the employees learned the basics of lean manufacturing, mapping, 7 types of process losses and tools to eliminate them. RCC experts have also trained internal lean production trainers.

It should be noted that the company plans to independently implement lean technologies in other areas in accordance with the three-year plan for the implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity".
