Omsk souvenir products: exploring the potential of local producers

Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region, and Svetlana Bazhenova, Director General of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, visited the Omsk Medicine pharmacy chain. The visit was dedicated to getting to know the company and its products.

Currently, the investment team is forming a pool of Omsk manufacturers from the creative industries, whose products can be presented as business souvenirs at the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The task is to find original and high—quality products that can adequately present the Omsk region.

Industrial pharmacies have been manufacturing medicines according to individual prescriptions for children and adults for 100 years under the GOSAPTEKA trademark, and also provide solutions to hospitals and maternity hospitals in Omsk and the region. Since 2015, the company has also been producing pharmacy cosmetics — today there are 145 items in the assortment: products for face, body, hands and feet, hair, men's series, as well as special lines for baths and baths.

Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, noted:
"We see great potential in cooperation with companies such as Omsk Medicine. Their cosmetic lines can be an excellent presentation for the region's partners, demonstrating not only the traditions of Omsk pharmaceuticals, but also modern approaches to production."

The selection of souvenirs for the SPIEF continues – the region relies on unique products from local manufacturers that can emphasize the investment and tourist attractiveness of the Omsk region.
