Omsk businessmen learned about online export opportunities
This week, a seminar "Online Export Opportunities" was held in the regional Congress Hall as part of the free export seminar program of the Export School of the Russian Export Center (REC).
The seminar was organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency.
The seminar was attended by representatives of 10 companies engaged in the production of musical equipment, trade in medicines and immunomodulators, food, grain, flour, production of folk costumes and shoes, advertising dynamic structures, measuring instruments, LED lighting and mining equipment.
It should be noted that the purpose of the export seminar program "The Life cycle of an export project" is to form a knowledge base for small and medium-sized businesses to successfully and effectively start their export activities.
Within the framework of the seminar "Online Export Opportunities", issues of cross-border e-commerce were highlighted. Omsk entrepreneurs were told about the specifics of trading through their own online store and through marketplaces.
"The Online Export Opportunities training seminar showed that the use of modern Internet technologies provides exporters with additional opportunities to implement foreign trade activities. The seminar participants learned about various significant aspects of international online sales, economic factors affecting the volume of online commerce in different countries, and the development of an advertising strategy for exported products," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency. "During 2018, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses will be able to complete all 11 courses of the export seminar program at the Omsk Region Export Support Center."
The next seminar "Export Documentation support" will be held on October 09, 2018.
