Omsk farmers, the Knysh brothers, told the head of the region about the prospects for the development of an investment project for the storage and processing of vegetables

Alexander Burkov visited a modern infrastructure complex for the primary processing and storage of agricultural products. The company is located in the village of Achairsky, Omsk region.

The potato storage facility is located in close proximity to the acreage of the Knysh brothers farm. A good location allows you to reduce transportation costs and maintain the quality of the stored product, which means - 5000 tons of potatoes.

The container type of vegetable storage provides a number of advantages: minimal crop damage, separation of products into food and seed fractions, monitoring of product quality. A modern ventilation system is installed in each of the insulated sections to achieve the desired temperature, humidity and air exchange parameters, which means that the product can be stored for as long as possible. The microclimate in the storage room is configured and monitored from a personal computer.

The potato storage facility is equipped with modern tuber processing lines: washё, cleaning, packing in a mesh, bag or polypropylene bag. 2018 This year, it is planned to supplement the potato cleaning and vacuuming line with equipment for the production of French fries, potato slices, cubes with further deep freezing and packaging.

The construction of such centers for the storage and primary processing of fruit and vegetable crops will improve the safety of agricultural products, the competitiveness of market participants and the profitability of local producers.
