Omsk companies are studying the basics of lean manufacturing

Omsk enterprises continue their training at the Office Process Factory training as part of the implementation of the national Labor Productivity project. At the Process Factory, participants learn the tools of lean manufacturing and immediately put them into practice.

The training was conducted by specialists from the Omsk Region Regional Competence Center (RCC). The Center operates on the basis of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.

The companies "CIVIC" and "VITO" are participants in the national project "Labor Productivity" and actively apply lean manufacturing technologies in their production processes. Both companies went through a joint stage of work on the project with RCC experts, identified losses, eliminated them, and also created reference sites. At the moment, enterprises are independently implementing the activities of the national project, introducing lean manufacturing tools to other parts of the workflow.

During the training at the Factory, participants are focused on finding ways to optimize and improve office processes. Thanks to lean manufacturing tools, the team was able to reduce costs, speed up processes, and improve production quality.

Employees of the enterprises shared that during the training they learned how to analyze risks and opportunities for improvement. Everyone noted that the Office Process Factory would help enterprises continue to make improvements in order to achieve an effect that could be measured both in numbers and achievements.
