Omsk confectionery and pasta products are planned to be exported to China

The Sladonezh company is planning export shipments of confectionery products in the coming months.

Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the Omsk region took part in the international exhibition of imported food products "Asia International Import Food Expo 2017 "AIFE" in the People's Republic of China, Beijing. The companies' participation was organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the Regional Development and Investment Agency.

According to the organizers, this year manufacturers from more than 30 countries, including Japan, Indonesia, Spain, Russia, Thailand, Iran, Ukraine, Moldova, and India, presented food products at the exhibition. The total number of exhibitors exceeded 1,000 companies.

The Omsk delegation included 6 companies engaged in the production of food products – confectionery, ice cream, condensed milk, pasta and snack products. Namely: "Siberian Cold Trading House", "Sladunitsa", IP AA Frick, Sibsnek, TD Trading House Sibirsky and TPK Sladonezh.

The goods produced by Omsk enterprises aroused great interest from entrepreneurs of the People's Republic of China, Mongolia and the Republic of Korea.

Thus, as a result of negotiations, the Sladunitsa company has about 5 potential partners. The assortment that Sladunitsa intends to supply to China is sweets with a large proportion of chocolate, nuts and praline mass. Negotiations are underway with potential partners and individual commercial proposals are being drawn up.

Head of Marketing DepartmentOlga Zhevlakova, IP Frick A.A., notes that a number of Chinese companies are interested in large-format pasta, pasta from the children's line for their supply to kindergartens and school canteens, as well as during the exhibition of a large hotel chain, product samples were transferred.

"The Chinese partners are studying the market in detail and aim to come on an excursion to the enterprise. Our company highly appreciates the prospects of entering the Chinese market and plans to cooperate with distributors from Beijing and northern China. At the moment, the information received is being processed," said the head of the marketing department.Olga Zhevlakova.

The Chinese partners' interest was aroused by Sibsnack's snack products, in particular chips. The company's management has decided to refine and adapt the flavors of chips for the Chinese market. In addition, the company needs to work out logistics issues.

Omsk ice cream from Siberian Cold Trading House was of great interest to visitors of the exhibition. A key partner of the participating company may be a distribution company from China, which controls about 70% of the Russian purchase of goods and distributes products in a network of Chinese supermarkets in which it has exclusive distribution.

At the moment, the contacts of potential partners are being worked out, negotiations are being scheduled.

TPK Sladonezh Company She has conducted fruitful negotiations with Chinese distributors and is planning export shipments of confectionery products in the coming months. An individual commercial offer is developed for each potential customer based on the product range, delivery conditions and order volume.
