Omsk enterprises are exploring lean manufacturing tools in office processes
As part of the implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity", employees of the Omsk Bacon brand for real Siberians took part in the educational training "Office Process Factory". The training was conducted by certified trainers from the Regional Competence Center of the Omsk Region (hereinafter RCC).
During the training, employees choose their roles from CEO to supply specialist of a manufacturing company and receive job descriptions. They have been working on concluding supply contracts for three rounds. The participants discuss the results of each stage, visualize the main operational performance indicators on the stand. With the help of lean manufacturing tools, the training participants learn in practice how to find and eliminate losses in the office process.
"The Office Process Factory training allows you to take a fresh look at your daily work and identify significant processes that create value for the client, as well as minor processes and losses that need to be eliminated," the RCC noted.
At the end of the training, the participants noted the expertise of the RCC trainers and the quality of the educational material received. It became clear to them in practice how to effectively plan the office process and minimize unnecessary employee movements. Now new knowledge can be applied in your own workflow, develop and implement projects to improve it.
