Omsk industrial cluster participants receive support in the implementation of investment projects
As part of the implementation of cluster policy in the region, the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency has concluded an agreement on investment project support with the company NPP Spetstech LLC. The expert support of the Agency's specialists is required for the project "Creation of production of products from corrosion-resistant ferroalloys for import substitution of parts for oil and gas production pipelines, with the development of a steel grade." Previously, these parts could be purchased in France, Germany and Italy.
It should be recalled that the company "Spetstech" has been operating for more than 10 years, the main product type is connecting parts of pipelines for the oil and gas and energy industries. The taps of the Omsk manufacturer are ordered by Gazprom, Rosneft, Transneft and other oil and gas companies.
Last year, the company became a member of the petrochemical industrial cluster. Employees of a specialized industrial cluster organization operating on the basis of the Omsk Region Industrial Development Fund have done a lot of work - they have compiled the necessary documentation for the inclusion of industrial clusters in the region in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Currently, the regional FRP is working to identify factors constraining the growth of production, which affect the competitiveness of products.
"The agency is actively involved in the work process. It's great that industrial clusters are emerging in the region. Such cooperation between government and business is absolutely necessary nowadays - raw materials, components and packaging products for manholes and connecting parts of pipelines are fully produced by the participants of the petrochemical cluster. The cost of the investment project, which the company has started to implement, is 300 million rubles. Thanks to the successful implementation, about 100 jobs will be created in the region, and the average annual amount of tax deductions to the budgets of all levels of the budgetary system of the Russian Federation and to the consolidated budget of the Omsk region will amount to about 60,000 rubles. At the moment, with the Agency's assistance, the company has concluded contracts for technological connection to gas supply networks with Omskgorgaz JSC and Gazprom Gazification LLC," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
