Omsk entrepreneurs were familiarized in detail with financial instruments of export
From April 18 to 19, 2018, the seminar "Financial Instruments of Export" of the Export School of JSC "Russian Export Center" was held in the regional Congress Hall.
The seminar was organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency. The seminar was conducted as part of the implementation of the export seminars program of the REC Export School on a free basis by a professional certified trainer, Anna Kolokolova.
"Training in the seminar program of the Export School of the Russian Export Center is useful both for future business owners, as well as for employees of export-oriented companies or government employees," the REC Export School noted.
Thus, representatives of 13 companies engaged in agriculture, forestry, industrial production, wholesale trade and construction were trained.
Omsk businessmen received detailed information about export financial instruments, methods of minimizing financial risks, and typical export credit conditions.
"The seminar participants learned about the specifics of bank verification of an exporter and its counterparty, the most common risk management mechanisms for currency transactions, as well as pre-export financing tools available to exporters," said Anna Kolokolova, Deputy Head of the Omsk Region Export Support Center. "During 2018, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses will be able to complete all 11 courses of the export seminar program at the Omsk Region Export Support Center."
Omsk entrepreneurs successfully completed the final testing and received a certificate from the student of the course "Financial Instruments of Export" of the seminar program of the REC Export School.
