Omsk businessmen were told about taxes in export activities

Yesterday, on July 10, a seminar "Taxes in export activities" was held in the regional Congress Hall as part of the free export seminar program of the REC Export School.

The seminar was organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency.

The seminar was attended by representatives of 13 companies engaged in such areas as: wholesale of food, agriculture, sale of safety equipment, recycling of non-ferrous and ferrous metal scrap, as well as cable waste.

During the seminar, the issues of taxation in the implementation of exports were highlighted. Omsk entrepreneurs compared tax regimes, assessed their impact on the economy of the export project, considered tax risks and learned how to manage them.

"The training seminar of the Export School of the Regional Export Center "Taxes in export activities" helped its participants to understand the taxation system in relation to export activities from the point of view of Russian tax legislation. The course participants learned which stages of an export project are subject to the greatest tax risks, which documents an exporter should prepare to receive a preferential VAT rate, and how to pass a tax audit and interact with tax inspectors," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency. "During 2018, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses will be able to complete all 11 courses of the export seminar program at the Omsk Region Export Support Center."

The seminar participants successfully completed the final testing and received a certificate from the student of the course "Taxes in Export activities" of the seminar program of the REC Export School.
