Omsk food and beverage producers are interested in Beijing
From April 17 to 19, the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, organized the participation of Omsk small and medium–sized companies in the "Asian International Exhibition of Imported and Premium Food and Beverages - 2017" in Beijing, China.
The AIFE International Exhibition is held annually in Shanghai and Beijing alternately. Participating companies will have the opportunity to bring imported products to the Chinese market, increase brand awareness, find new business partners, receive investments, and contribute to the development of the industrial sector.
The participants of the business mission are export-oriented entrepreneurs of the food industry. More than 1,000 exhibitors from 30 countries are participating in the exhibition. The Omsk delegation included enterprises engaged in the production and sale of confectionery, canned and snack products, ice cream and pasta.
More than 200 contacts took place on the first day of the exhibition. The participants of the exhibition show great interest in the products of Omsk entrepreneurs.
For example, the SibHolod company, which has an assortment of more than 150 types of ice cream: ice cream, cream and ice cream with a milk fat substitute, produced in the following formats: glasses, cones, popsicles in glaze and without and weight ice cream, interested Chinese representatives. The participants of the exhibition appreciated the taste and packaging of the ice cream.
The Chinese representatives were also interested in the chocolate products of the confectionery factory "Sladunitsa". The Sladunitsa company is one of the largest manufacturers of confectionery products in Western Siberia.
A major distributor in Northern China is interested in exclusive meter-long pasta from the largest producer of pasta and flour in Western Siberia, the DOBRODEYA trademark.
The participants of the exhibition, Sibsnack, the general distributor of snack products in the Russian Federation and abroad, found out that crackers and croutons are not a familiar product for the Chinese consumer, and chips, on the contrary, are in great demand.
Representatives of the Sibirsky Trading House also take part in the exhibition, they are the only exporters of the products of the Lyubinsky Dairy and Cannery. Koreans became interested in canned milk products because this type of product is not available on the Korean market. Omsk entrepreneurs hope to find partners in the face of Korean entrepreneurs to market their products to foreign markets.
The exhibition presents products from the confectionery factory "Sladonezh", which is one of the largest manufacturers and an expert in the confectionery market in Siberia. The company provides direct supplies of confectionery products to the 25 largest retail chains in Russia and the CIS countries. On the first day of the exhibition, Chinese and British companies held talks with a representative of the Sladonezh company on the supply of confectionery products.
"The first day of the exhibition showed great interest on the part of Chinese companies in Omsk manufacturers. Our companies will have two more days of active exhibition work with the assistance of specialists," the regional Export Support Center said.
