Omsk "Electrotochpribor" develops lean manufacturing at the "Equipment Management Factory"

Specialists from one of the leading manufacturers of high-precision electrical measuring equipment in Russia took part in the practical training "Equipment Management Factory". The event was organized by the Regional Competence Center (RCC) of the Omsk Region within the framework of the federal project "Labor Productivity", which is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

"The key goal of the Equipment Management Factory is to give employees not just a theory, but to form their understanding of how daily inspection, lubrication and minor repairs directly affect the overall efficiency of the entire enterprise. When this understanding comes through practice, training gives the maximum effect," explained Maxim Shulgat, Director of the Omsk Region RCC.

The Equipment Management Factory is a special training ground located in the Congress Hall. It completely immerses the participants in the production processes. Instead of traditional lectures, employees practice their skills in the format of four consecutive "work shifts": it teaches them to find hidden losses and effective solutions.

"Before the training, I thought I knew all the nuances of maintaining our equipment. But already on the first game shift, I realized that there are a lot of hidden losses that we hadn't noticed before. Today we have clearly seen how the slightest shortcomings multiply and result in downtime and marriage. The most valuable thing is that we now know the specific tools to avoid this, and this knowledge can be immediately transferred to our real sites," said Alexander Kolomytsev, head of the Laboratory of New Technological Processes.

Electrotochpribor specializes in the development of high-precision electrical measuring equipment, mining equipment and LED equipment. Systematic work on process optimization is already yielding results: process execution time has been reduced by 30%, the volume of work-in-progress has decreased by 12%, and production in the flow has increased by 10%.

Training sessions at the "Equipment Management Factory" are available free of charge for all enterprises participating in the federal Labor Productivity project. You can apply for participation on the official productivity website.RF.
