Omsk Entrepreneurship Support Fund will act as a guarantor for loans for industry
The Omsk Regional Fund for Support and Development of Small Business and the Federal Fund for Industrial Development have signed a cooperation agreement to provide preferential loans for industry in the region.
"The signing of the agreement between the Entrepreneurship Support Fund and the Federal Industrial Development Fund will allow industrial enterprises of the Omsk region applying for loans from the industrial development Fund to receive collateral from the entrepreneurship support fund in the amount of up to 70% from the loan amount", − the regional Ministry of Economy explains.
Thus, in the Omsk region, industrial enterprises wishing to attract loans from the Industrial Development Fund have a new support tool that allows them, if they lack their own collateral, to receive a guarantee from the regional entrepreneurship support fund, thereby fulfilling the requirement of the industrial development fund and attracting the desired investments for the project.
Industrial enterprises can use the guarantee of the Omsk Entrepreneurship Support Fund to obtain loans from the Federal Industrial Development Fund, as well as to obtain joint loans provided by federal and regional industrial development funds.
Recall that in the Omsk region, the decision to create a regional industrial development fund was made by the head of the region, Alexander Burkov. In his budget message, Alexander Burkov set the task of promptly launching the work of the fund. The new structure was created on the basis of the Omsk Microfinance Fund. The creation of the fund will make it possible to organize support for Omsk projects with a total capacity of 40 million rubles. The minimum loan amount will be from 20 million rubles.
The Omsk Microfinance Fund implements two programs to support industry – «Development projects» and «Accessories». Consulting assistance is implemented on the basis of two support infrastructure organizations – the Regional Microfinance Fund and the Agency for Development and Investment.
