Omsk PVC profile manufacturer has increased production volumes with support from the national project
Today, Sputnik summed up the results of 6 months of implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity" with the support of experts from the Regional Competence Center.
The company was visited by the Minister of Economy of the Omsk region Anna Negoduiko.
"This national project, like others, is an initiative of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The national goals that we are implementing, the results that we see, allow us to conclude that these strategic areas have been chosen correctly, and the production processes of enterprises are improving. 70 Omsk Region companies are participating in the national project, almost half of them are enterprises that have implemented the national project with the participation of the Regional Competence Center, which is very important for us because this structure was specially created in the regions to help companies implement a culture of lean manufacturing and tools to increase productivity," said Anna Negoduiko.
At Sputnik, lean manufacturing technologies were introduced into the PVC profile manufacturing process. With the support of experts from the Omsk Region Regional Competence Center, an ideal production site has been created, a project management center has been developed, and internal trainers from among the company's employees have been trained. As a result of the project, the company managed to increase production per worker per hour by 11% and reduce production time by almost 1.5 hours.
"I would like to say a big thank you to the leadership of the country and the region for the fact that such support is being implemented. With the help of these projects, we have taken a step towards increasing labor productivity, and a more attentive attitude to the tools that we have discovered, and the replication of these tools will allow us to reach great heights," Konstantin Kosykh shared.
The Sputnik team intends to replicate the solutions to other production sites with the advisory support of experts from the Regional Competence Center.
It should be recalled that the implementation of the national project at enterprises is designed for
3 years. After 6 months, a sample flow is created - an ideal production site, internal trainers are trained to implement lean production tools. In the next 2.5 years, the company will independently continue to replicate lean technologies to other processes, and experts will provide consulting support.
