Omsk confectionery company plans to optimize the production of marshmallows through participation in the national project
Today, experts from the Regional Competence Center of the Omsk Region (hereinafter RCC) traveled to the Maryanovsky municipal district to the LakoSh confectionery factory to hold a kick-off meeting on the implementation of the labor productivity improvement program. The company produces whipped confectionery products such as marshmallows and souffles.
At the opening meeting, the RCC expert briefed the team on the goals and objectives of the national Labor Productivity project, and also described how the work will be organized for the next six months. The project's working group of employees of the organization, together with the RCC, identified the marshmallow production process as a pilot flow.
So, together with the working group, RCC experts will diagnose production processes, identify possible losses and "bottlenecks". The company's employees will be trained in lean manufacturing tools, the factory will have internal certified lean manufacturing trainers, as well as the company's information center and a plan of measures to eliminate problems.
"One of the main steps in the implementation of the program is the creation of a sample flow in production, which, thanks to the national project, acquires the status of a reference after optimization. This is a joint work of the RCC experts, the management of the enterprise and the working group, as a result of which, with minimal investments, and sometimes without them, a number of economic indicators are noticeably improved," said Vadim Shulgat, head of the RCC project.
The staff of the confectionery factory enthusiastically accepted the idea of the management to join the national project "Labor Productivity". Natalia Azarenko, Director of Lacoche, addressed the participants of the meeting with an introductory speech: "Together we will create a reference flow in the production of marshmallows, starting from the supply of raw materials and ending with finished products. There is a lot of work ahead of us, where everyone will have to show up. I am confident that participation in the national project and the proper use of lean manufacturing tools will help reduce production costs and increase salaries."
It should be noted that 70 enterprises of the region participate in the national project "Labor Productivity" in the Omsk region. The RCC of the Omsk region helps participating enterprises to improve the efficiency of production processes free of charge.
