IKG-Trans has started implementing lean manufacturing tools with the support of experts from the Regional Competence Center for the national Labor Productivity project. The company plans to increase productivity in carrying out plastering works.
"The concept of a national project is familiar to you, you have experience working on Demography, and you are building a polyclinic based on the national Healthcare project. This project (approx."Labor productivity") It is designed to help you improve existing processes during the construction of facilities and successfully complete them. You will be able to apply the acquired knowledge and experience to other facilities," said Kirill Samodinsky, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Omsk Region.
IKG-Trans specializes in capital construction of buildings and structures, as well as reconstruction and technical re-equipment of existing facilities of any complexity in the regions of the Far East, Siberia and the Urals. In addition, the company is building buildings of regional importance, such as kindergartens, schools, and clinics.
"Our company has entered into a labor productivity improvement program. The successful implementation of this program will serve to increase productivity and will contribute to an increase in the level of wages of employees," said Vasily Tkach, Director of IKG-Trans.
It should be recalled that the implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity" is aimed at achieving the planned targets: reducing process time, reducing work-in-progress, and increasing production in the pilot stream. One of the main tasks facing the RCC experts is to transfer the methodology for conducting projects to increase labor productivity and train employees in lean manufacturing tools. The total duration of the project at the enterprises is three years.
In the near future, the project's working group, together with RCC experts, will have to build a flow map of the current state, identify bottlenecks in production processes and create a reference site where the main lean manufacturing tools will be implemented.: The 5C system, production analysis, standardized work, and others. The first results of the joint activities of the company's team and the RCC will be available in three months.
