Omsk region to allocate more than 55 million rubles from the federal budget to support entrepreneurship

The Omsk region has additionally attracted 55.8 million rubles from the federal budget to support entrepreneurship. "An application was prepared for attracting subsidies from the federal budget in 2018, which was approved and as a result, a corresponding agreement was signed between the Government of the Omsk Region and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The agreement assumes that funds in the amount of 55.8 million rubles will be used for state support of small and medium-sized businesses, including peasant (farming) farms, as well as for the implementation of measures to support youth entrepreneurship," the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk region notes.

The federal funds received will be used to assist small and medium-sized businesses in lending, for example, if there is insufficient collateral. Aspiring and active businessmen of the single-industry town of Krasny Yar will be able to count on financial support. In addition, it is planned to assist export-oriented enterprises by organizing their participation in international exhibitions and business missions. Federal funds will also be used to promote the development of youth entrepreneurship.

Recall that at the initiative of the head of the region, Alexander Burkov, an additional 173 million rubles are allocated to support small and medium-sized businesses in 2018. In addition, 39.8 million rubles were allocated in the regional budget as part of the Economic Potential Development program to support entrepreneurship.
