The delegation of the Chinese city of Karamai visited Omsk region
The head of the Department for External Relations of the Administration of the People's Government of Karamai, Mr. Shi, and representatives of Chinese business visited the Omsk Region on a working visit.
The delegation of the city of Karamai visited the factory for the production of ice cream under the trademark "SibHolod". Representatives of the delegation announced their intention to sign a contract for the supply of Omsk ice cream to China.
Mr. Shi, Head of the Department of External Relations, and representatives of Chinese business discussed opportunities for further cooperation with Rasim Galyamov, Minister of Economy of the Omsk Region.
According to Mr. Shi, Karamai City District in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China is located in 320 km northwest of Urumqi. The population of the city is more than 600 thousands of people. Karamai – one of the richest industrial cities in China, which is developing as a center for oil production and refining.
"We would like to purchase your environmentally friendly products.", − declared Mr. Shi.
According to him, 6 investment shopping centers are ready to sell Omsk-made products.
Minister of Economy of the Omsk Region Rasim Galyamov He thanked the representatives of the delegation for such an early visit following the results of the exhibition in Shanghai, provided detailed information about the Omsk region and manufacturers interested in cooperation with China.
"Regional authorities and businesses are ready for active cooperation and the development of mutual trade. In Shanghai, we managed to negotiate and reach agreements on the participation of Omsk manufacturers in the project to create a retail chain of retail stores. "Nishop". Our cooperation with you is actively developing in other areas. As a result of the visit of the delegation from Manchuria in March this year, the following was signed 4 agreements between the healthcare institutions of the Omsk region and the People's Hospital of the City of Manchuria. The essence of the agreement is the exchange of experience and cooperation in the areas of ophthalmology, rehabilitation, oncology and surgery. In addition, a forum will be held in Manchuria, where oncologists from the Omsk region are invited to share their experiences.", − shared Rasim Galyamov.
As part of the discussion of possible cooperation in addition to food products of the Omsk region, Mr. Shi He noted that the city of Karamai needs petroleum products such as coke, as well as polyethylene and rubber. At the same time, the demand for coke is from 300 before 600 thousand tons annually.
The representative of the Chinese business, Mr. Lu, expressed interest in importing household appliances to the Omsk region.
"We are ready to discuss cooperation with the Omsk region, for example, in the manufacture of furniture.", − explained Mr. Lu.
In conclusion, Rasim Galyamov and Mr. Shi agreed to work out a cooperation agreement between the Omsk region and the city of Karamai, which will emphasize mutual trade.
