A delegation from Manchuria will visit the Omsk region.

On May 24-25, a delegation from Manchuria headed by Mr. Chen Lixin, Secretary of the CPC City Committee of Manchuria, China, will visit the Omsk Region.

The purpose of the visit is to strengthen and further develop bilateral cooperation between the Omsk Region and the People's Republic of China.

The business program of the Chinese delegation's visit includes official meetings with the leadership of the region, where the parties will discuss promising areas of bilateral cooperation, as well as business meetings and negotiations between representatives of Omsk and Chinese companies, and visits to Omsk enterprises.
An exhibition of products from Omsk region producers will also be organized for the Chinese delegation, where Chinese partners will be able to get acquainted with Omsk goods.

Following the visit, it is planned to sign a number of agreements.

The Omsk Region's foreign trade turnover with China in 2016 amounted to 54.2 million dollars, or 7.1% of the total foreign trade turnover of the Omsk region in 2016 (an increase of 42.4% compared to 2015), while exports amounted to 21.4 million dollars (an increase of 63.9% compared to 2015), and the volume of imports is 32.8 million dollars (an increase of 31.2% compared to 2015).
