Omsk region will be visited by a representative of a Chinese billionaire
The chief representative of the Linjun Corporation of China in Russia and Eastern Europe, Mr. Qing Guo, will participate in the Conference on Foreign Economic Activity, which will be held from 8 by 9 December in Omsk at the regional Expocenter.
Recall that this year Omsk was chosen as the venue for a large-scale event that brings together representatives of government authorities, infrastructure organizations of Russian regions, the business community, as well as foreign businesses. Previously, the event was held in Kaluga, Vologda and Ulyanovsk.
The Conference in Omsk is organized by the Regional Agency for Development and Investment in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
According to the Agency, about 50 people have registered for the Conference. 550 participants. There are six foreign delegations among them. – from Bulgaria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia and China.
The Chinese delegation, which included six enterprises, is interested in negotiating the possibilities of acquiring a land plot in Russia with an area of 10 a hectare for the purpose of building production facilities in the field of light industry, concluding contracts with Omsk producers for the purchase of food products (vegetables, meat products) and timber processing products. Chinese companies plan to discuss the possibilities of developing bilateral tourism.
The organizers note that the Conference will be attended by about 100 infrastructure organizations in the regions of Russia. At the exhibition «Export potential of Russian regions» About a dozen regions will present their export opportunities with collective stands. The export potential of the Omsk region will be represented by enterprises engaged in various industries – from food to children's clothing. About a dozen craftsmen will present their products at the exhibition.
The Conference program, in addition to the exhibition part for entrepreneurs, is organized by «contact exchange» with Georgian, Armenian, Bulgarian, Belarusian, Kazakh and Chinese companies.
