Representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod region made a working visit to the Omsk region to exchange experiences, get acquainted with the industrial potential of the region and establish interregional business ties.
The business mission was organized by the Nizhny Novgorod center "My Business" together with the Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk region with the support of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
During the two days of work in Omsk, the delegation visited key industrial enterprises in the region: Omsk Rubber (part of the Titan Group of Companies), Poliom, and Sibgazstroydetal.
The participants got acquainted with the production facilities, technological processes and best practices of the enterprises, discussed the possibilities of cooperation and potential points of interaction between the companies of the two regions.
The exchange of contacts with Omsk enterprises became a key stage of the business program of the visit. The event allowed participants from the Nizhny Novgorod region to directly discuss the prospects for cooperation, exchange contacts and outline concrete steps to build cooperative ties.
The business representatives were greeted by Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency. She stressed the importance of inter-regional cooperation for economic growth:
"Interregional cooperation is one of the most important drivers of economic growth. The visit of a delegation from the Nizhny Novgorod region opens up new opportunities for building long-term partnerships. Omsk region has a high investment potential: a well-developed industrial infrastructure, qualified personnel and an effective system of business support measures. We are ready to create comfortable conditions for the implementation of joint projects and attracting investments to the region."
As part of the exchange of contacts, representatives of the Omsk Region Industrial Development Fund held a presentation for the guests, in which they spoke in detail about the existing industrial clusters in the region, the mechanisms for creating new clusters, as well as measures of state support for industrial enterprises.
