The first acceleration program of entrepreneurial initiatives in the social sphere
The selection of participants of the first acceleration program of the Foundation for Support of Social Projects has started.
Up to 50 project teams will be able to apply for preferential financing based on the results of the accelerator.
"In April 2018, accelerator participants will be able to present their projects to potential mentors and investors. The most successful teams will receive preferential financing from the Social Project Support Fund," she said.Svetlana Chupsheva website editors asi.ru "We expect that from 30 to 50 project teams will be selected for the first accelerator."
Applications for participation in the acceleration program, organized by the Foundation for the Support of Social Projects jointly with the IIDF and ASI, are accepted from December 4, 2017 to January 18, 2018.
The Fund will provide unsecured loans for a period of 1 year in the amount of 500 thousand to 3 million rubles. Projects applying for financial support must have a business component - they must have the potential for self-sufficiency and scaling.
"We are also ready to support projects at an early stage of implementation. The Foundation will help everyone who is already successfully working in this field or is just thinking about it," said Evgenia Shokhina, Director of the Foundation for the Support of Social Projects.
The organizers of the acceleration program will measure the social component of the project both in terms of its implementation (education, healthcare, social services and protection, culture, sports, ecology, etc.) and in terms of the scale of social impact.
"If the project solves the problems of a large number of people or the founder of the project, for example, is himself a parent with many children, retired or has a disability, we will consider this project a social one," she explained.Evgeny Shokhin.
The stages of selection and dates of participation in the acceleration program:
• applications are accepted from December 4, 2017 to January 18, 2018;
• Skype interviews and expert evaluation of projects - until January 29, 2018;
• announcement of selected projects - January 30, 2018;
• Accelerator - from February 7 to April 7, 2018.
