Russia's first School of Social Entrepreneurship opens a new enrollment in Omsk

Within six months, the participants of the unique project will learn how to draw up a business plan for a socio-entrepreneurial project, learn about project management technologies and its promotion, and about sources of investment.

The School, which is supported by the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region, will be taught by professional experts who will tell you how to create an effective business model for the project. In addition, both during their studies at school and during the development of their own business, School participants will receive individual support.

Anyone interested can ask questions about the training program on August 25 at 11.00 at an introductory meeting in the conference hall of the Omsk regional Business Incubator. You can apply for training in advance via the website cissinfo.ru/school.html or by calling: 90-46-16. Classes for the new set will begin on August 26.

The School of Social Entrepreneurship is a special training program in which interested students, beginning and existing entrepreneurs, representatives of socially oriented non–profit organizations, will be able to learn technologies for launching, promoting and developing business projects in the social sphere, gain knowledge in the field of legal and financial foundations of business, learn about government support for social entrepreneurship, get acquainted with successful social and entrepreneurial cases.

According to the organizers, the school will become a reliable partner for those who are planning to create their own social project, or are taking the first steps in implementing business projects or activities of a non-profit organization, as well as have a stable business and plan its development.

More than 600 graduates of the School in different regions create children's and family-leisure centers, private kindergartens, boarding houses for the elderly, rehabilitation centers, projects in the field of culture, sports, tourism – all that makes people's lives a little better.

"Since 2013, 9 private boarding schools for the elderly have been opened in the Omsk region by social entrepreneurs, including School graduates. Currently, of all Russian regions, only the Omsk region provides financial support for the establishment and operation of private boarding schools for the elderly in the amount of up to 5 million rubles. So, since 2014, the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region has supported 4 business projects totaling 11.9 million rubles at the expense of the regional budget," said Oksana Fadina, Regional Minister of Economy.
