Almost 30 Omsk companies became participants of the educational program of the Russian Export Center

The third year of the first year of the REC Export School has been completed in the Omsk Region «Introduction to export: the life cycle of an export project. Government support for export-oriented enterprises».

Introduction to export – This is a relevant topic for companies that are thinking about entering new markets. At the same time, it is worth noting that this training is useful for existing exporters, it provides new practical knowledge. During the course, entrepreneurs learned how to properly assess the potential of the foreign market for their product, how to build an optimal strategy for entering foreign markets, where to get government support, and how to minimize export risks. Special attention of the course was paid to government support for export activities. The training consisted of a combination of theory and practical exercises, where participants worked with the business cases of their companies in export activities.

«I did not expect that the information I received during the course would be so useful to me.! When I went to the seminar, I thought there would be more discussion about the accounting documents needed for export, because this is important to me as a specialist. However, now, using the acquired knowledge, I can control the activities of export specialists, which is a big plus for the management of our company. LLC was also a participant in the training «TPC «Sladonezh». «I learned what resources to use to conduct marketing research on foreign countries, in particular, statistical data for the primary analysis of territories and guidebooks with country specifics. General information on customs clearance and payment methods with international partners, as well as an assessment of their reliability, was useful. I learned about government export support measures. After completing the training, I plan to make some changes to the workflow.: consider alternative options for settlements with partners (the introduction of a letter of credit) and the possibility of various government support measures, use the search for additional information on the proposed Internet resources», - She told me Olga Limayeva, Regional Manager of the Foreign Economic Activity Division.
