Investor support is a priority task of the Omsk Region authorities

 

An off-site meeting was held today on the construction of a warehouse for food and non-food products of the Magnit retail chain. The construction of the facility is scheduled to be completed in June this year.

As part of the project support by specialists from the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, it was revealed that there are risks of disrupting the commissioning of the facility. Thus, a working trip was planned, where the key issue of the meeting was the technological connection to the power supply networks of the distribution center.

 

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Andrey Shpilenko, representatives of the regional Agency for Development and Investment, the Ministry of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of the Omsk Region, the branch of PJSC ROSSETI Siberia - Omskenergo and investors.

Recall that the total investment amount is 3.12 billion rubles, the area of buildings and structures of the distribution center will amount to 44 thousand square meters, of which warehouse space is 41 thousand square meters. Earlier, the Governor of the Omsk region, Vitaly Khotsenko, noted during a meeting of the investment committee that the implementation of such a project would contribute to the development of the logistics potential of our region, reducing the cost of goods and services. creation of more than 700 new jobs.

 

"The construction of the distribution center is a systematic step towards the transformation of the logistics infrastructure of the Omsk region. The project will optimize supply chains, strengthen the position of local producers in the market and create a solid foundation for further industrial growth. We keep the implementation of the project under special control and are ready to provide all necessary support for its timely completion," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region.

To date, 80% of the construction work has been completed at the facility, and finishing works are underway.
